Familiarity with cloud environments such as MS Aurora, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS is essential, as is experience with visualization tools like Grafana and Looker. This position is based in Irving, TX, and is an on-site role, emphasizing the need for collaboration with development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. The role also involves mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using qTest.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
• Utilize monitoring and reporting tools to assess application performance.
• Work with cloud environments including MS Aurora, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using Webdriver.io.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on quality assurance.
• Strong background in FinOps and experience with monitoring and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, and Python for testing purposes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as MS Aurora, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
