The Supplier Relations Quality Control Associate is part of the Customer Channels Group (CCG) serving academic, pharmaceutical, biotech, government and industrial customers by providing them with products manufactured by our company as well as those sourced from other industry-leading suppliers around the world. Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout all areas of the distribution center.
  • Focus on supplier compliance and adherence to industry standards for EDI, packing slip accuracy, labeling, and general packing and inbound shipping quality.
  • Establish and maintain a strategic and collaborative relationship with a remote team in Pittsburgh and support the internal distribution team.
  • Ensure adherence for suppliers to meet Operational Requirements and the penetration of electronic transaction utilization.
  • Document inbound supplier receiving audits including packing slip accuracy, labeling accuracy, carton integrity, general packing and shipping, and inspection/audit of damaged freight.
  • Communicate non-compliance with both the Supplier Relations and Distribution Center teams.
  • Support department standup meetings and participate in continuous improvement in developing compliance systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate strong safety awareness and follow all guidelines within the Distribution Center.
  • Participate in Distribution Center and Supplier Relations activities and events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of Distribution/Operations/Manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong cross functional relationship building
  • Independent self-motivated worker
