About the position

The Senior Recruiter for Corporate Investment Banking at Truist is responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting high-caliber talent for various roles within the Wholesale line of business. This role requires a deep understanding of Wholesale Banking and acts as a talent advisor, providing consultative and strategic recruiting services while managing client and candidate relationships. The recruiter will support diversity initiatives and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on mid-level and senior level professional hiring, providing consultative and strategic recruiting services.
  • Manage client and candidate relationships at the managerial and professional level.
  • Independently manage the search and selection process for a wide range of roles, including professional, technical, and niche skill positions.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of staffing processes, including networking, pipelining, talent identification, offer creation, and manager partnership.
  • Support Truist's diversity initiative by developing and executing recruiting strategies and partnering with business leaders on the Affirmative Action program.
  • Provide a best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experience through the interviewing and hiring process.
  • Manage the applicant workflow through the ATS, assessing candidate qualifications and maintaining compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional level recruiting experience, including candidate sourcing strategies and management of the end-to-end recruiting process.
  • Strong credibility and presence to guide and consult managers in making sound hiring decisions.
  • Ability to engage in talent-related conversations with all levels of the organization.
  • Desire to stay updated on sourcing strategies, trends, and market conditions.
  • Ability to work independently, organized, action-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Experience providing fact-based assessments of talent to recommend hiring decisions.
  • Collaborative team player with flexibility and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Mentor recruiters and team members to share best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and relevant work experience.
  • Extensive experience with passive candidate sourcing in financial services or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of organizational strategies.
  • Ability to persuade and influence business leaders on hiring recommendations.
  • Experience in recommending and negotiating complex compensation offerings.
