About the position

As a Senior Recruiter at Staples, you will play a crucial role in the recruitment process, supporting all elements from sourcing to hiring decisions. This position requires collaboration with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to attract and secure top talent for both full-time and temporary roles. You will utilize various technologies and social platforms to identify candidates, manage their experience throughout the hiring process, and effectively communicate Staples' employer value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Talent Needs: Conduct needs analysis conversations and align with business expectations.
  • Source Talent: Find talent for each role and communicate effectively with passive candidates.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Maintain active candidate pipelines and utilize social media to promote roles.
  • Manage Candidate Experience: Communicate proactively with candidates and set expectations with hiring managers.
  • Assess & Hire Talent: Use behavioral-based interviewing techniques and manage counteroffers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Deep experience with professional networking sites
  • Understanding of sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated use of an ATS, Recruitment Marketing, and Excel
  • Knowledge of current employment laws, including OFCCP guidelines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Experience working with AI/Chatbot for recruitment
  • Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud
