About the position
The Sr Reporting Software Application Developer will work on NewRez's proprietary servicing system, Servicing Director, which manages over 3.5 million loans. The role involves developing new features, enhancing existing applications, and troubleshooting issues within the system.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify complex SQL stored procedures for financial calculations.
- Enhance and modify existing Windows applications developed in VC++/MFC.
- Create or modify reports in Crystal Reports.
- Create or modify imports and exports for third-party vendor interfaces.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and determine optimal solutions.
- Unit test all changes made to the system.
- Assist the QA team with testing processes.
- Participate in code reviews of other developers' work.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL (T-SQL).
- Experienced in Visual C++ and MFC.
- Familiarity with VB, VB Script, and Crystal Reports is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in mortgage servicing is preferred.
