About the position

Enveda is seeking a Senior Research Associate to contribute to assay development and mechanism of action deconvolution in drug discovery and product development. This role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to implement novel strategies across various disease areas, supporting both cell-based and biochemical assay development. The position is integral to the Biology group, reporting to the Senior Scientist leading laboratory efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of cellular and biochemical assays.
• Collaborate with scientists to develop complex, disease-relevant assays.
• Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols and results.
• Interpret data and present scientific findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to multiple high-value projects and manage team interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of industry experience in biotech, diagnostics, or life sciences.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
• Familiarity with biochemical approaches such as transfection, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, immunofluorescence imaging, Western blot, ELISA, TR-FRET.
• Experience with assay development and high-throughput testing is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Spotfire, and/or Prism.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebook tracking.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with high-throughput compound/sample testing.
• Familiarity with additional molecular biology techniques.
