About the position

The Revenue Cycle Analyst Senior plays a crucial role in providing analytical and consultative support to enhance revenue cycle operations. This position focuses on delivering data-driven insights and actionable information to improve efficiency and implement best practices. The analyst will develop high-level reporting for management and executive decision-making, highlighting key opportunities for improvement and ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial and operational data analysis to generate insights that advance departmental and system initiatives.
• Identify revenue cycle trends in data to drive process improvements and enhance collections.
• Build strong consultative relationships as a key business partner for data insights within the revenue cycle and IT divisions.
• Translate customer data questions into actionable analytic scorecards, dashboards, or reports.
• Develop and deliver impactful presentations for senior executives and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the revenue cycle expert and liaison for assigned customers, developing solutions for operational and billing functions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and balanced scorecards using visual analytics.
• Collaborate with IT and operational leadership to develop impactful analysis and messaging for assigned customers.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Science (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant revenue cycle experience.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle and associated data analysis.
• High attention to detail and complex data analysis abilities.
• Strong computer skills and independent judgment in decision-making.
• Experience with data query and visualization tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience with Epic Cogito tools, including Workbench and Slicer Dicer.
• Experience with Epic Caboodle and Epic Clarity.

Nice-to-haves

• Epic Revenue Data Modeling certification within 1 year (preferred).
• HFMA CRCR certification within 120 days (required).
