About the position

Sprinklr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager to join our dynamic accounting team. This position is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work closely with our Executive Leadership team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles under US GAAP and have operational experience managing the revenue process within a technology company. This role is crucial for supporting Sprinklr's continued growth and success in a fast-paced and complex environment. As the Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of Senior Revenue Accountants, ensuring that all revenue operations and accounting activities are executed efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for reviewing customer contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606, analyzing and reporting key revenue metrics, and collaborating with the Order Management and Billings teams on all customer contract matters. Additionally, you will perform and review monthly close tasks related to the revenue process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue trend analysis. Your role will also involve working closely with external audit teams to meet quarterly review and annual audit requirements, assisting in the design and implementation of global revenue process controls, and supporting the completion of all revenue-related disclosures in the financial statements. You will have the opportunity to participate in various ad-hoc projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the accounting team and the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of Sr. Revenue accountants.
  • Review customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Analyze and report key revenue metrics and results.
  • Work closely with Order Management and Billings team on all customer contract matters.
  • Perform and review the monthly close tasks associated with revenue process, including account reconciliations, journal entries and revenue trend analysis.
  • Perform the monthly close tasks associated with ASC340-40 and capitalized commissions.
  • Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements.
  • Assist in the design, development and implementation of global revenue process controls.
  • Support the completion of all revenue related disclosures in the financial statements.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in an accounting role with at least 4-5 years in a revenue accounting role.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, NetSuite accounting system and Salesforce CRM is a plus.
