About the position

This position involves leading medium revenue threshold projects with minimal supervision, focusing on analyzing business problems of medium complexity. The role emphasizes generating quantitative and statistical business analyses using advanced tools and scientific modeling approaches, particularly in customer analytics, market analysis, and forecasting. The individual will synthesize analytical views to support business decisions and determine go-to-market tactics for specific target customers and products. The position also includes mentoring less senior professionals and providing updates to upper management.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium revenue threshold projects with minimal supervision.
• Analyze business problems of medium complexity.
• Generate computer-aided quantitative and statistical business analysis using advanced tools.
• Synthesize analytical views from various business dimensions to support business decisions.
• Determine go-to-market tactics related to specific target customers, markets, and products.
• Attend cross-functional meetings to understand analytical requirements across business functions.
• Utilize computer languages or packages to analyze data and generate reports or insights.
• Mentor and train less senior professionals in quantitative data analysis.
• Provide updates and reports to upper management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields plus 2 years of experience in an analytical role.
• Alternatively, a PhD in the relevant fields in lieu of a Master's degree plus 2 years of experience.
• One year of experience or coursework in computer-aided decision support or programming languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, C, VB.net, Java, JavaScript, R).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Teradata, Oracle) or visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire).
• Strong human relations, communication, and analytical skills.
