About the position

As a Senior Risk Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our second line risk team, serving as the primary expert in transforming raw data into actionable intelligence. This position goes beyond mere data analysis; you will act as a risk detective and strategic advisor, utilizing your skills to safeguard the bank by identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Responsibilities

• Dive into vast datasets to extract meaningful insights across all areas of risk, including credit, operational, and compliance.
• Craft compelling visualizations and presentations to communicate complex risk findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify emerging risks and trends before they escalate into significant issues.
• Develop early warning indicators and predictive models to proactively mitigate potential threats.
• Collaborate with risk managers and business partners to enhance risk reporting, analysis, and monitoring frameworks.
• Engage in diverse projects to learn new tools and techniques, continuously expanding your risk management expertise.

Requirements

• Must have experience in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
• Experience working with Git is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and data visualizations.
• Understanding of statistical concepts and experience building predictive models is preferred.
