About the position

The Sr. Risk Management Manager at Early Warning Services LLC is responsible for consulting with and supporting the Human Resources and Marketing teams in executing enterprise and operational risk programs. This role promotes a culture of risk awareness and ownership, ensuring adherence to the company's risk appetite while managing risk-related activities and compliance with regulatory requirements. The position serves as a subject matter expert on risk programs and frameworks, guiding business units in identifying, mitigating, and reporting risks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with HR and Marketing teams on enterprise and operational risk programs.
  • Promote risk awareness and ownership within the business units.
  • Ensure timely execution of risk program requirements, including risk assessments and reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on risk programs, policies, and frameworks.
  • Oversee the development and execution of risk-based testing and monitoring programs.
  • Guide business partners through governance processes related to new products and services.
  • Identify risks associated with new or existing processes, products, or services and oversee monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership to manage risks within the company's risk appetite.
  • Educate and train business leaders on risk management practices.
  • Aggregate and analyze risk data for reporting and analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of six years of risk management experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of risks, controls, and issues management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, highly regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial services and consumer products.
  • Experience directing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Effective influence management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of COSO's Internal Control - Integrated Framework or similar.
  • Risk management, internal control, or Certified Regulatory Compliance (CRCM) certification.
