About the position

The Senior Risk Manager for Logistics Claims Management & Operations at Amazon will oversee vendor relationships, compliance controls, and process improvements within the insurance program. This role requires a strong background in risk management, insurance policies, and process optimization, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will leverage data and metrics to propose enhancements and communicate effectively with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, from process implementation to performance evaluation and improvement.
• Support document management and compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to create and manage compliance controls.
• Clearly define and uphold performance standards based on organizational and team goals.
• Identify opportunities for improvements across the entire auto claims program and all lines of business.
• Effectively communicate recommended risk mitigation strategies and program/process improvements to cross-functional and internal leadership teams.
• Support finance forecasting, reporting, and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.

Nice-to-haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
• Master's degree or equivalent
