About the position

The Sr. SailPoint Developer is responsible for architecting and developing solutions that integrate with business requirements and cross-functional platforms. This role involves engaging in the development of First American's Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem, focusing on provisioning, de-provisioning, and integration of business applications with SailPoint. The developer will prepare detailed specifications for SailPoint product integrations and coordinate with various stakeholders to validate new functions. The position requires advanced technical expertise and the ability to work on diverse problems while adhering to industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop solutions that integrate with current business requirements and cross-functional platform integrations.
  • Engage in building First American's IAM ecosystem, focusing on authentication, authorization, logging, and monitoring.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed specifications for SailPoint product integrations, including workflows and process maps.
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts, Operations, and IAM Leadership teams to validate new functions.
  • Analyze diverse problems requiring evaluation of various factors and understanding of business and technological trends.
  • Provide input to technology direction and methodologies based on advanced technical expertise.
  • Support projects that may require non-standard working hours for meetings or issue resolution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IAM domain knowledge experience with a focus on identity and access management technologies, particularly SailPoint.
  • Advanced skills in executing code using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, XML, BeanShell, and Log4j customizations.
  • Experience coding SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Handled IIQ deployments in on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Active Directory and LDAP related directory services.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins and BitBucket for CI-CD pipeline integrations.
  • Knowledge of leveraging SailPoint APIs and developing custom connectors for in-house applications.
  • Deep understanding of access governance principles and regulatory compliance policies.
  • Experience with SailPoint certification configuration options and access reviews.
  • Knowledge of Product UI and branding customizations, including custom and OOTB report generations.
  • Experience in SailPoint LCM and Provisioning modules for on-prem and cloud integrations.
  • Ability to architect and define role engineering and Segregation of Duties policies.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
