About the position

The Sr. Sales Compensation Analyst will lead sales compensation excellence reporting for the Global Sales compensation team at DocuSign. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to perform complex data modeling and analytics related to sales commissions and incentive programs. The analyst will support the sales compensation team with analysis and reporting, develop compensation models, and present findings to business partners. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Sales Compensation Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex data modeling and analytics related to sales commissions and incentive programs.
  • Support sales compensation team with analysis and reporting to leadership.
  • Develop compensation models to derive useful compensation insights that will drive decision making.
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc analytical requests, summarize results, and present to relevant business partners.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales compensation.
  • Experience in sales compensation in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful models, reports, metrics, and charts.
  • Strong understanding of G Suite.
  • Exceptional quantitative analysis skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheet proficiency.
  • Experience using common BI tools (Tableau/Snowflake) for analysis and reporting, and proficiency with SQL and relational data.
  • Experience with commissions software tools (Xactly a plus).
  • Familiarity with incentive plan structures, such as bookings and revenue-based incentive plans, quotas, accelerators, pay mix, leverage points, industry standard OTE.
  • Ability to multi-task with limited supervision.
  • Able to assume stretch responsibilities and participate in special projects that advance the function or the team's capabilities.
  • Take initiative to improve, invent, and proactively share own knowledge and learning across the team.
