About the position

The Global Commission team at Trellix is seeking a seasoned business professional for the role of Sr Sales Compensation Analyst. This position is pivotal in the administration of compensation plans and involves evaluating current commission processes to identify redundancies and enhance efficiencies. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, dynamic individual who is passionate about problem-solving and eager to learn and apply new ideas and solutions. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for reviewing bookings crediting and commissions for sales teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Corporate Policy and Compensation Plans. The analyst will work closely with Sales Managers, Operations Managers, and Finance Managers to resolve any issues related to bookings crediting and commissions. A significant part of the job involves analyzing credit and commission data weekly to provide insightful reporting on plan attainment. The analyst will also build and design reporting packages for leadership and other stakeholders, utilizing strategic and divergent thinking to identify and define problems, quantify opportunities, and articulate business cases for process improvement and automation. The role requires the analyst to propose future state processes aimed at reducing human processing time and costs, ensuring that all supporting documentation is verified for accurate commission payments. Timeliness is crucial, as the analyst must meet deadlines consistently and perform monthly and quarterly bookings and commission reconciliations. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for responding to sales inquiries promptly, making this a multifaceted role that demands excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review bookings crediting and commissions for sales teams for accuracy and compliance to Corporate Policy and Compensation Plans
  • Work directly with Sales Managers, Operations Managers, and Finance Managers to resolve issues regarding bookings crediting and commissions
  • Analyze credit and commission data on a weekly basis to provide reporting on plan attainment
  • Build and design reporting packages for leadership and other stakeholders
  • Identify and define problems, quantify opportunity, and articulate business cases for process improvement and automation
  • Propose future state processes to reduce human processing time and cost or avoid costs
  • Meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Perform bookings and commission reconciliations on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Ensure all supporting backup is verified to accurately pay commissions
  • Respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Sales Compensation administration, reporting, and analytics
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline and/or an MBA
  • Strong business acumen and teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Very good interpersonal skills with great attention to detail
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other MS Office applications
  • Experience in any Commissions software is a plus
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to changing business priorities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
