About the position
The Sr. Sales Data Analyst Consultant at Andersen Corporation serves as a strategic partner to Sales & Marketing leaders, translating complex analytics into understandable data narratives and recommendations. This hybrid role combines data analysis, performance evaluation, and sales and marketing strategy, influencing decisions that impact overall marketing and sales strategies. The position involves collaboration across functions to improve processes that support sales strategies, with a focus on data integrity and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and support repeatable processes and tools/dashboards for sales and marketing leaders.
- Analyze complex business problems through independent investigation and data forensics.
- Own key analytical components of large, cross-functional projects.
- Perform in-depth analysis of leading, in-process, and lagging indicators to support strategic initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert within the Sales/Marketing organization.
- Coach and mentor team members and interns, and may have direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business analytics, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
- 5-7 years of experience in an analyst-related field (marketing, sales, finance, or business).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI).
- Understanding of data structures and basic modeling concepts.
- Experience with common sales tools such as Salesforce and Anaplan.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
