About the position

The Sr. Sales Engineer at Juniper Networks is a pivotal role focused on driving the AI Driven Enterprise business within assigned territories. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in networking and sales acumen to effectively demonstrate the competitive advantages of Juniper's solutions to customers and partners. The role emphasizes collaboration with various teams and partners to create tailored solutions that meet customer needs, while also fostering long-term relationships and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct online AI Driven Enterprise product presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Analyze customer and partner requirements to develop technical solutions that align with their business needs.
  • Become the subject matter expert on AI Driven Enterprise and effectively communicate this knowledge to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with Juniper Partners to drive enablement, growth, and scale.
  • Own the 'White Glove' proof of concepts and evaluations for customer opportunities with partner teams.
  • Help create design and deployment guides for public and internal use.
  • Actively participate in the Juniper Mist community.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams on customer projects and provide feedback on industry trends and requirements.
  • Secure technical wins and build lifelong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience as a manufacture or partner Sales Engineer, or equivalent experience as a Network Engineer/Architect designing, deploying, and operating full stack enterprise networks.
  • Experienced in Wi-Fi, including radio wave and RF fundamentals, site surveys, and high-density campus deployments.
  • Knowledgeable in routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
  • Experienced in Layer 2/3 wired LANs.
  • Knowledgeable in next-generation firewalls (NGFWs), policy rules, segmentation, and integration with AAA/Radius and various EAP methods.
  • Familiarity with CLI Operating Systems, particularly Junos, is a bonus.
  • Exposure to programming and APIs, including Postman, JSON, and Python, is a bonus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a passion for driving continuous success.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
