About the position

The Sr. Sales Engineer (SE) role at Stark Tech is pivotal in driving awareness and adoption of Clean Power Systems Solutions. This position is designed for a professional who will actively manage assigned accounts and territories to achieve revenue and profit goals. The SE will work closely with various Sales teams across Stark divisions and external partners to ensure effective account management, develop sales strategies, and achieve set goals. This role is not just about sales; it involves project bidding, pipeline management, and serving as a key technical resource for customers. The SE will be responsible for building strong professional relationships with clients, showcasing Stark's capabilities in delivering economic value propositions and resiliency benefits through clean power systems applications. In this role, the SE will promote core competencies and ensure that sales targets are met. This includes strategizing with stakeholders, leading the sales cycle, managing project pipelines, and providing accurate proposals along with technical and economic analyses that align with customer needs. The SE will also play a crucial role in ensuring seamless project execution, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing ongoing documentation and reporting to management. The position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement and a deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape, particularly in the areas of battery systems and clean power systems. Responsibilities

  • Drive awareness of Stark Clean Power Systems Solutions by managing assigned accounts and territories.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams across Stark divisions and externally on account management and sales strategies.
  • Achieve revenue and profit goals through effective project bidding and pipeline management.
  • Build strong professional relationships with customers to highlight Stark's capabilities.
  • Promote core competencies and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead the sales cycle and manage project pipelines effectively.
  • Provide accurate proposals and technical/economic analyses to align with customer needs.
  • Ensure seamless project execution and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide ongoing documentation and reporting to management.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering or applicable technology space required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ten years of experience in the renewable energy space and/or power sector with experience in solution sales required.
  • Contract negotiation experience in energy storage/critical power or renewables required.
  • Experience facilitating and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of battery systems, renewable power, and related clean power systems required.

  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
