About the position

The Sr Sales Engineer, Data Solutions is a customer-facing, pre-sales role at CoreLogic, responsible for partnering with Sales and Account Executives to engage with prospects and close new business. This position involves developing compelling data solutions and effectively communicating their value throughout the sales cycle, from demonstrations to implementation. The role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to deliver tailored presentations and proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Account Executives to engage with prospects and close new business.
  • Develop and deliver custom presentations and demonstrations based on customer requirements.
  • Utilize the Discovery Workbench for low-code demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  • Provide market-oriented data expertise to help prospects understand and adopt CoreLogic's data solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales to develop prospective customers through the sales process.
  • Collect Voice of Customer feedback to enhance product-market fit and influence development priorities.
  • Travel to client sites, industry events, and client engagements at the Discovery Center in Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing data solution delivery, pre-sales, or similar role.
  • Ability to deliver compelling technical sales presentations.
  • Experience with proof-of-concept exercises or similar activities, including pilot projects.
  • Familiarity with consultative sales methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build internal and external relationships.
  • Experience with Big Data, SQL, Tableau, and Cloud Marketplaces (strongly preferred).
  • Expertise in Real Estate, Retail, and/or Telecom/Energy/Utility industries (strongly preferred).
  • BS in data analytics, data engineering, computer science, or related fields, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Ability to travel once or twice per month.
