About the position

As a Senior Sales Engineer at Forcepoint, you will play a crucial role in providing pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products, applications, and solutions. Your in-depth product knowledge will be essential in delivering technical expertise to both the sales staff and customers through engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations. You will assist the sales team in evaluating the potential applications of our products to meet customer needs, which may involve preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of tailored solutions. In this position, you may also be responsible for creating detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products and applications. A key aspect of your role will involve building mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions. This often requires rapid prototyping and product demonstrations to effectively showcase our offerings to clients. Additionally, you will provide consultation to prospective users and conduct product capability assessments and validations. As a seasoned professional, you will be expected to resolve a wide range of issues creatively and effectively. This fully qualified, career-oriented position requires a broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in your area of specialization, along with a working knowledge of related fields. You will demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and will network with senior internal and external personnel in your area of expertise. Your work will be evaluated upon completion to ensure that objectives have been met, and you will contribute to the development of the organization's goals and objectives. A university degree and 4-6 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience, are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for complex products, applications, and solutions.
  • Deliver technical expertise to sales staff and customers through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Assist sales staff in assessing potential applications of company products to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare detailed product specifications for customer products/applications/solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex products and applications.
  • Strong technical presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
