About the position

The Senior Sales Operations Specialist in Business Optimization and Sales Support (BOSS) at Amazon is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across global sales operations. This role involves optimizing sales mechanisms, supporting planning activities, and leveraging analytical expertise to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to address complex operational challenges and implement innovative solutions using data analysis and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual planning activities and develop actionable insights.
  • Provide enablement and support of specific mechanisms used to manage the Sales and Sales Operations businesses.
  • Support key sales support systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve revenue attainment and market development objectives.
  • Create insightful analysis, reports, and dashboards to accelerate information-to-action at scale.
  • Develop relationships and processes with sales, sales operations, and other stakeholders to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.
  • Be an expert in analytics tools required to support Sales and Sales Operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
