About the position

The Sr Sales Staff Manager at GE Healthcare is a customer-facing leadership role responsible for driving business success through effective management of direct sales staff. This position involves setting the vision, operational strategies, and tactical execution plans to achieve operational performance across various products and services. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage direct sales staff, setting vision and operational strategies.
  • Achieve operational performance across products, services, and projects within a designated geographic area.
  • Develop specialized knowledge of commercial developments and conduct high-level data analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Utilize strong executive presence and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of best practices and competitive landscape to drive team performance.
  • Make informed decisions and solve complex problems related to sales processes and customer engagement.
  • Provide innovative perspectives on existing solutions and support recommendations with data analysis.
  • Foster a competitive mindset within the team to exceed performance expectations.
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical sales, healthcare marketing, clinical/technical expertise, or hospital administration in imaging, or 8+ years in medical sales.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information to C-Suite decision-makers.
  • Must reside in the territory and be willing to travel.
