About the position

The Sr Salesforce Developer plays a crucial role in coding, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions. This position collaborates closely with product owners and developers to ensure high-quality experiences that meet stakeholder requirements. The developer is responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, documenting processes, and mentoring junior developers while participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, codes, tests, and deploys Salesforce solutions, including Visualforce pages.
• Documents application development processes and systems, including integrations and third-party systems.
• Coordinates enterprise projects and custom software integrations to build scalable business applications.
• Completes user stories and configures solutions in collaboration with business units.
• Provides expertise in enterprise application development and deployment tools and best practices.
• Analyzes, cleans, transforms, and models data for reporting solutions.
• Resolves and documents escalated technical issues for end users.
• Stays updated on technology trends and vendor product roadmaps.
• Coaches, mentors, and trains junior Salesforce Developers.
• Participates in Scrum teams and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or comparable qualifications.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience developing complex applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Extensive experience with relational database tools (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience working with web services (RESTful and SOAP).
• Extensive experience as a Salesforce administrator for various components.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce development tools (Visualforce, Apex, etc.).
• Proficiency in the Salesforce Dot Com (SFDC) development environment.
• Experience with Sandbox management.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.
