About the position

The Sr Scheduler at Hill International is responsible for managing and coordinating scheduling for complex distribution program projects. This role involves tracking project statuses, documenting delays, developing integrated schedules, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze and resolve scheduling issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule distribution program projects with complexity and track local permits status.
• Document delays for time impact analysis.
• Develop and integrate schedules for various project components.
• Create master integrated schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Engage in tasks necessary for successful project execution and identify problems and solutions.
• Collaborate to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables.
• Utilize project controls for schedule management, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Drive actions to resolve issues immediately or escalate to project management as needed.
• Communicate effectively with various groups and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, construction management, business, finance, or project management, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in scheduling and capital projects/construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAP.
• Expertise in Primavera P6.

Nice-to-haves

• Utility experience, particularly in distribution and underground utilities.
• Construction management experience.
