Responsibilities
- Execute the development and validation of analytical methods for biopharmaceuticals.
- Create written procedures and protocols for method transfer, qualification, or validation.
- Apply analytical techniques to characterize and quantify biopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain laboratory supplies and summarize results in written reports.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and share scientific expertise.
- Develop protocols and SOPs, train staff, and maintain laboratory compliance.
- Stay updated on scientific literature and advancements in analytical methods.
- Present scientific data at internal and external meetings.
Requirements
- MS or Ph.D. in a relevant field with 2 - 7+ years of industry experience.
- Extensive experience in cell culture, molecular biology, immunoassay, and bioassay techniques.
- Understanding of CMC development strategy for biologics drugs.
- Solid understanding of biopharmaceutical production and characterization methods.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analytical method development and validation.
- Working knowledge of cGMP environment requirements.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and data modeling.
- Knowledge of neurotoxin structure and its biological function.
