MetLife is seeking a Sr. Scrum Lead to join our Holdings organization application development team. This role is pivotal in the Benefits Realization program, where the focus is on identifying and executing savings opportunities across Software, Hardware, and Mainframe domains. As a Sr. Scrum Lead, you will be responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching team members, proactively eliminating barriers, and protecting teams from external interferences. You will facilitate team meetings to ensure delivery toward sprint goals and work closely with team members, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and stakeholders to support Sprint and Release Planning. Your role will foster team self-awareness, encourage cross-training, decision-making, and continuous improvement to enable high-performing teams. Additionally, you will lead daily collaboration activities and facilitate all key Agile ceremonies while applying and enhancing SAFe Agile frameworks to help teams adopt and establish an Agile mindset. In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing savings opportunities across Hardware, Software, and Mainframe domains. This involves coordinating across different enterprise teams and generating ideas to present to leadership. Success in this role requires a strong technical knowledge of applications, hardware, and cloud, along with the ability to analyze data to prioritize savings. You will collaborate closely with application development teams, infrastructure, and finance teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard. Your role will drive operational excellence through the understanding and alignment of key customer goals and business priorities. You will also be responsible for project management execution, which includes estimating and managing project costs and resources, identifying and managing project risks and issues, and monitoring the progress of all key project work streams, deliverables, and outcomes. This includes the creation and maintenance of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. You will oversee the requirements and deliverables of internal application development, infrastructure, and finance teams, as well as vendor partner application development teams. Your leadership will motivate project team members who are not direct reports and may cross various functional areas. You will lead project meetings and provide updates to leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of technology. Overall, this role is essential in ensuring that initiatives, milestones, and budgets are designed, implemented, and monitored effectively to meet timelines and deliverables.
