About the position

At MFS, you will find a culture that supports you in doing what you do best. Our employees work together to reach better outcomes, favoring the strongest idea over the strongest individual. We put people first and demonstrate care and compassion for our community and each other. Because what we do matters - to us as valued professionals and to the millions of people and institutions who rely on us to help them build more secure and prosperous futures. As a senior Scrum Master, you will advise, mentor and coach the agile team on Scrum and/or Kanban values, practices, and other delivery techniques with the goal of improving product delivery across team(s) and domain(s). This includes facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and refinements for two (2) delivery teams. Additionally, the senior Scrum Master may manage up to 3 Scrum Masters and is expected to allocate time to optimizing domain and portfolio level product delivery which includes preparing for scaled planning events (quarterly planning, team breakout sessions, managing cross-team dependencies as well as identification/removal of impediments). Lastly, the senior Scrum Master will take a lead role in domain level team performance and adoption of agile ways of working. In this role, you will manage up to three (3) Scrum Masters, providing guidance on Agile practices, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with organizational goals. You will provide coaching and thought leadership on Agile principles for the development team and product owners; specifically sharing knowledge, best practices, and identifying ways to improve product delivery. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies and scaled activities for multiple teams in support of delivery across the organization, leverage metrics to measure and monitor team and domain delivery maturity, and coach and support continuous improvement within the team, domain, and organization.
