About the position

The Senior Scrum Master will manage the execution of initiatives supporting Digital Enablement across the portfolio, particularly focusing on Enterprise Mobile Application and additional non-Mobile team responsibilities. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong Agile, technical, and leadership skills to drive team performance and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and coach the team in Agile Methodology, ensuring adherence to Lean-Agile processes.
  • Act as a role model for servant leadership and influence key stakeholders effectively.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies, identifying opportunities for improvement to optimize velocity and quality.
  • Support and manage backlog health, planning for future milestone releases.
  • Track and communicate overall team progress, providing visibility to stakeholders through various ceremonies.
  • Lead team maturity efforts with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Remove impediments to progress as identified by the team.
  • Protect the team from outside influences to maintain focus on Scrum priorities.
  • Partner with the Product Owner and Product Manager to prioritize backlog items based on business value.
  • Drive continuous improvement mindset within the team.
  • Collaborate with LOB application teams and application Production Support/Reliability Engineering teams.
  • Manage vendor implementation partners and 3rd party vendor integrations.
  • Oversee resource planning and financial management for applications.
  • Guide and support the team in delivery with a foundational understanding of application technology frameworks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders and business sponsors.
  • Experience in managing backlog health and planning releases.
  • Strong communication skills to provide visibility to stakeholders.
  • Experience in continuous improvement practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with mobile application development.
  • Familiarity with resource planning and financial management in technology projects.
  • Knowledge of application technology frameworks.
