About the position

As a Sr. Security Architect at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be part of the Cybersecurity Architecture team, focusing on enterprise security architecture and security solutions design. Your role involves consulting on security for various technical solutions, ensuring the security of the company's technical landscape and data, and leading efforts to identify and remediate cybersecurity risks.

Responsibilities

• Work with various technical teams to ensure security of the company's technical landscape and data.
• Provide cybersecurity oversight and consulting for solutions from both technical and operational perspectives.
• Identify, categorize, and prioritize cybersecurity risks and lead remediation efforts.
• Create solutions and processes to monitor and maintain application-level security across the enterprise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field (equivalent work experience accepted).
• 5+ years of solutions architecture or security architecture experience in an international setting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments, identity and access management, networking, firewalls, and monitoring.
• Expert level experience with hosting applications in public cloud environments, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with application design and security, APIs, key management, and data protection.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as CISSP or other security-related certifications are encouraged.
• Programming and automation experience.
