About the position

The Sr. Security Architect is responsible for ensuring the security of cloud systems, applications, and IoT devices. This role requires a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, cloud security tools, and the ability to perform secure code reviews. The architect will provide expert advice on security incidents and support the development team in remediating vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement PKI, cryptography, key security, and hashing algorithms.
• Leverage cloud security tools to secure systems on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deploy and secure applications and sensitive data in cloud environments.
• Secure IoT devices and communications using protocols like gRPC, TLS, and MQTT.
• Apply cybersecurity protections to embedded, mobile, web, cloud, and on-premises applications.
• Review NIST publications related to IoT, mobile, server, cloud, and key management security.
• Perform secure code reviews on infrastructure scripts and code, identifying vulnerabilities and guiding the development team in remediation.
• Provide support and expert advice for remediating security incidents in production and pre-production systems.
• Utilize software development expertise to enhance product and application security initiatives.

Requirements

• Understanding of PKI, cryptography, key security, and hashing algorithms.
• Working knowledge of cryptographic tools and libraries such as OpenSSL.
• Experience with cloud security tools for AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience in deploying and securing applications in cloud environments.
• Experience securing IoT devices and communications using relevant protocols.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity protections for various application types.
• Familiarity with NIST publications related to security.
• Ability to perform secure code reviews and identify vulnerabilities.
