About the position

The Sr. ServiceNow Architect - HAM/SAM/ITSM role at Fujitsu involves leading the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM). Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow engagements from solutioning, design, implementation, support, and advisory.
  • Gather business requirements and assess current IT infrastructure and future goals through customer meetings.
  • Resolve issues related to scope, technical challenges, or integration with customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales team to create technical proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Serve as the technical expert for the sales team, addressing technical concerns and demonstrating value to customers.
  • Identify potential risks to proposed solutions during the presales phase.
  • Present ServiceNow capabilities through live demos and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Design and develop the technical architecture of ServiceNow IT Asset Management.
  • Consult and implement ServiceNow IT Operations Management, including Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • Set up integrations with tools like Tanium, SCCM, and jamf for software inventory integration.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HAM and SAM, including normalization and metrics.
  • Conduct workshops to educate customers on best practices and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Conduct technical reviews and assessments to ensure scalable and secure implementations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical support and training to end-users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of ServiceNow design and development experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow architecture and integration.
  • Hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform, including customization of applications.
  • Experience developing ServiceNow solutions and technical design documents from business requirements.
  • Experience with implementation of custom integrations (REST/SOAP, Flow Designer).
  • Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript, or other functional programming languages.
  • Ability to create high-level and low-level technical solutions and roadmaps.
  • Experience in technical sales, solution design, and customer engagement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in other applications such as IRM, HR, CSM.
  • ServiceNow certifications in Discovery, HAM, and SAM product lines.
