About the position

The role is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of crew compensation programs, with a focus on variable pay. This includes collecting and analyzing data to ensure the competitiveness and effectiveness of shipboard pay strategies in alignment with total rewards strategies. The position involves collaboration with various departments and providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and administration of crew compensation programs with an emphasis on variable pay.
  • Collect, review, and evaluate the consistency of crew compensation programs, policies, and practices.
  • Analyze internal and external data to assess the competitiveness of crew compensation programs.
  • Prepare quarterly executive summaries and presentations for senior leadership, including the CFO and CMO.
  • Coordinate the implementation of approved changes to compensation programs, ensuring effective communication and consistency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to extract insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Frame complex business problems and recommend practical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in strategic analysis and recommendations for compensation/total rewards programs, preferably in the cruise industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and analytical tools such as SQL/Oracle, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid business acumen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the cruise/shipboard industry is preferred.
