About the position

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for developing and implementing observability strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of network services. This role emphasizes the use of blameless post-mortems to identify root causes of incidents and drive improvements in system resilience and observability. The SRE will also focus on automating testing, deployment, and validation processes to ensure a seamless customer experience while proactively monitoring system capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develops observability strategy utilizing industry adopted design patterns, statistics, and trends.
• Responds to observed changes in trends and sees incidents as opportunities for improving network service reliability.
• Uses blameless post-mortems to drive reliability, resilience, and observability.
• Drives automated testing, deployment, and validation with a focus on customer experience.
• Proactively uses observability and monitoring to understand capacity.
• Develops continuous integration and deployment pipelines with auto rollback.
• Visualizes services through the lens of the technology stack.

Requirements

• ServiceNOW experience
• Cisco Certifications
• Cisco 9300 Access Switch experience
• Cisco WAP experience
• Citrix Netscaler experience (Load Balancing / VIPs)
• Experience with similar technologies.
