About the position

The Sr. SNR Sales Manager at Sunrun is responsible for managing key accounts and developing sales strategies to enhance customer relationships and drive growth. This remote position focuses on maintaining long-term business relationships, supporting account integration, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales operations. The role requires collaboration with various departments to provide outstanding support and to optimize sales activities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain long-term business relationships with assigned key accounts and their corresponding customer base
  • Support, integrate and expand any newly secured account through distribution, direct and other sales segments
  • Maintain order pipeline, DOS (Days of stock inventory goals), meet or exceed lead-times/standards
  • Coordinate product forecasting exercises with installers and accounts to ensure the supply chain meets customer material needs
  • Create and expand relationships with key individuals at account companies, understanding and supporting their business needs
  • Conduct Quarterly business reviews with partners and recommend improvements and upsell new or existing products
  • Analyze market trends and develop plans with Marketing to increase brand awareness in the assigned distributor market
  • Guide accounts through product changes and new product introductions
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across departments/field resources to ensure outstanding customer support
  • Act as the point of contact for product functionality, value proposition, documentation, and available tools and resources
  • Support customer growth and expansion by coordinating with applications engineering and field training teams for On-the-Job Training for new installers, crews, and branches
  • Address account issues related to invoices, RMAs, and pricing as needed, ensuring timely communication with the Sales Operations leader
  • Assist in identifying and developing SNR process improvements to optimize account sales activities
  • Deliver account information in a digestible, actionable manner to support company strategy and growth targets
  • Work with SNR Marketing to assist in accounts partner marketing activities such as trade shows, campaigns, and other promotional activities
  • Create strategies to increase order amounts and frequency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturer sales or supporting roles, preferably in the construction or solar products industry
  • Solar industry experience is highly desirable
  • Solid knowledge of photovoltaic system construction is desirable
  • Proven record of success maintaining customer relationships and exceeding key operating metrics
  • Ability to set weekly priorities to meet KPIs for the quarter and annually
  • Deep familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, PPT) and CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with effective presentation skills
