About the position

The Sr Software Architect for CASE Digital Service is responsible for leading the design, development, and verification of in-vehicle digital services that align with Honda's Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric (CASE) goals. This role involves managing projects, mentoring other engineers, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards while developing innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead software coding design and verification testing of in-vehicle digital services.
• Manage project concepts and break them down into required development activities.
• Develop optimized software architecture strategies using software architecture modeling tools.
• Produce detailed software designs based on architecture requirements.
• Verify individual software units for compliance with design requirements and non-functional requirements.
• Integrate individual software units into a complete integrated software for verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software coding design for in-vehicle electronics or smartphone applications.
• Experience in C++ or similar coding languages.
• Proficient in using LINUX/UNIX based operating systems.
• Experience with software development toolchains similar to Atlassian DevOps environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Automotive SPICE standards.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR compliant specifications.
• Experience in creating design concepts and related software specifications.
