About the position

The Sr. Software Development Engineer in Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT) at Amazon is responsible for leading the development and launch of core services and product features for the Benefits Tech platform. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and launch of core services and product features for the Benefits Tech platform.
• Define product features and drive system architecture.
• Spearhead best practices to ensure a quality product.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams in design and architecture decisions.
• Deliver high-quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
