About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer Lead/Expert with a strong background in Java and Python. The ideal candidate will be proficient in software development, particularly in microservices architecture and RESTful web services. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location. The candidate will be responsible for delivering new features, improving the reliability of core services, and addressing system bottlenecks. We value practical coding skills and the ability to ship products over extensive documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language (Java and/or Python).
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust 6C.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
