Strategic Business Systems, Inc. (SBS) is seeking a motivated Senior Software Developer to support a cutting-edge modeling and analytics framework for the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with technical leaders in cloud computing and data analytics to re-architect, modernize, and operationalize a critical tool that is essential for making real-time, mission-critical decisions across the IC. Candidates must possess a minimum of TS/SCI clearance or higher and be open to obtaining a CI Polygraph as well. In this position, candidates will provide software design and development expertise for both new application development tasks and the maintenance of existing systems. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of understanding complex technical concepts, and able to collaborate effectively with the team on technical direction. The responsibilities include designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software, as well as troubleshooting production problems related to software applications. Candidates will also be involved in designing and developing major enhancements to existing software, addressing systems integration issues, and meeting with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. Additionally, candidates will perform feasibility analyses on potential future projects, assist in evaluating and recommending application software packages, and resolve software-related problems while responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Participation in the development of program documentation is also expected.
