About the position
The Sr Software Developer position at CC Services d/b/a Country Financial involves conducting quality control tests and analyses to ensure software meets standards and user requirements. The role includes drafting and approving test plans, creating test data, and managing various testing phases, including acceptance, alpha, and beta testing. The developer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining testing strategies, handling test case design, and communicating test status to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure software meets/exceeds standards and end-user requirements.
- Draft, revise, and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy.
- Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow.
- Plan and execute acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing, ensuring that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and problems are resolved.
- Develop and maintain test strategy and plan for functional and non-functional requirements testing.
- Handle test case design, test data mining, and test execution for functional and non-functional tests.
- Plan, document, track, and coordinate testing, handling requirements traceability, metrics, defect, issue, and risk management.
- Develop test summary reports and dashboards to communicate vital test status, issues, and risks to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate passion for quality and strive for continuous improvements to deliver better-quality products in a cost-effective way.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 48 months of experience in IT.
- Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 12 months of experience in IT also acceptable.
- Experience with application/test management tools.
