We build tools and services for new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our mission is to give our customers best-in-class DevOps services to manage their code, build and deployments within OCI. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in building DevOps Source Code Management platform for our customers. As a Software Engineer 3, you will participate in the design and development of OCI DevOps Source Code Management Services. You should be a rock solid coder and have a passion to learn new technologies. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. You should have a bias for action and should be willing to take ownership of a problem and solve it to completion. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. You understand operational excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team and is willing to support on-call. You have the ability to recommend and justify changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data-driven approaches.
