About the position

The Sr. Software Development Engineer for AWS Managed Services (AMS) is responsible for developing and enhancing feature capabilities that facilitate the adoption of AWS services for enterprise customers. This role involves building new product capabilities that deliver operational outcomes, leveraging various AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB. The position is ideal for individuals passionate about cloud technology and contributing to the success of major companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve feature capabilities for AWS services.
• Build new product capabilities to deliver operational outcomes for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions using AWS services.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design discussions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are met.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead.

Nice-to-haves
