About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the integration of our innovative solutions with existing infrastructures, including radar systems, surveillance cameras, and command and control centers. This position is based in Sterling, VA, and offers a hybrid work model, typically requiring an average of two days per week in the office, depending on job tasks. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for customizing and configuring our products to meet the specific operational needs of our clients, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. You will also develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between our products and third-party systems, enabling interoperability and integration. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure compatibility, reliability, and compliance with performance standards and customer specifications. Additionally, you will provide technical support to both customers and internal teams during the integration process, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration efforts of our solutions with existing infrastructure, including radar systems, surveillance cameras, command and control centers, and other relevant systems.
  • Customize and configure our products to meet the specific requirements and operational needs of our clients, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between our products and third-party systems, enabling interoperability and integration.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure compatibility, reliability, and compliance with performance standards and customer specifications.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during the integration process, troubleshooting issues, and resolving technical challenges in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Java 8/11.
  • Network Protocol experience (TCP, UDP, Websocket, asterisk, ENQT, ZeroQ, etc.).

Nice-to-haves
