About the position

The Sr Software Engineer position at Maxonic involves designing, developing, and deploying software solutions in a lab environment. The role requires a strong background in programming languages such as Perl and Python, as well as expertise in Unix systems. This is a contract position that requires onsite work in Bellevue, WA, five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop & deploy adapters/platforms in the lab using Perl, Python, and Shell Scripting.
• Monitor pipelines running in the lab.
• Troubleshoot network issues in the lab.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Perl programming.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• In-depth knowledge of Unix, including troubleshooting Unix and network issues.
• Experience with Shell scripting.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Hadoop.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge of Network/Telecom domain.
• Experience in web development.
