About the position

The Sr Automation Engineer at Nike will play a crucial role in supporting a global engineering team focused on building and enhancing automation solutions. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to design automation products that align with Nike's long-term strategy, while also providing program management support to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business stakeholders to identify new automation opportunities and build requirement documents to be leveraged by the engineering team
• Provide program management support for all automation projects, ensuring they progress through the workflow efficiently
• Support pilots and collaborate with other technology owners to integrate automation tools with new systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with team members to implement ideas
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, program management, or a related field, with a focus on automation and process improvement
• Technical expertise in PEGA and RPA tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath)
• Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, supply chain, and customer service
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive project outcomes
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience
