About the position

The Senior Software Engineer (QA) position at ComResource focuses on testing a new application within a regulated Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. Responsibilities

• Generate and manage test cases from functional requirements and team discussions.
• Conduct manual testing and collaborate on automated testing using Junit and Pytest.
• Ensure comprehensive testing coverage, including both positive and negative test cases.
• Work with Java, Python, and Git to contribute to our code repositories.
• Analyze software behavior and advocate for best practices in testing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or QA.
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and testing tools (Junit, Pytest).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in agile environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with design patterns and structured software development.
