About the position

The Senior Software Engineer for Sales & Marketing at Berkley Technology Services will serve as a technical leader, responsible for designing and developing software applications that support the company's sales and marketing initiatives. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing applications and infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions meet business needs. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications for Sales & Marketing.
  • Utilize Azure, Azure Service Bus, and Data Factory for cloud solutions.
  • Implement and manage Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Apps, Dataverse).
  • Design and maintain MS SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Solve complex problems and perform detailed analysis.
  • Work effectively in a virtual team environment.
  • Understand CRM and marketing system processes and interfaces.
  • Design new system functionality with a focus on performance and stability.
  • Review business requirements to leverage CRM and marketing technology.
  • Define development standards and design patterns.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, other engineers, stakeholders and end users.
  • Provide high-quality customer support and on-call production system support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Azure, Azure Service Bus, and Data Factory.
  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Pages, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • 5+ years of relational database experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with data loads.
  • Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact seamlessly at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systems.
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to function as a valuable team member inside a virtual collaboration environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or Salesforce Development.
  • Experience designing enterprise CRM system interfaces.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Co-Pilot.
  • Agile/Scrum team exposure and experience.
  • Knowledge of the P&C Insurance Industry.
  • Experience working with .Net applications.
