The Sr. Engineer - SC Technology will work on development and design of technical objects - Integrations, Reports, Extensions and Conversions. The role will provide technical solutions on design and strategy on application software solutions, including data management, performance management, and integration platforms. The role will also improve business processes and technology efficiencies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a solid overall understanding manufacturing systems and warehouse operational functions.
• Design and develop using HighJump/Korber (or similar WMS) product suite (Webwise Page Editor/ Advantage Architect). Create report layouts based on business requirements and develop technical solutions using relational SQL Server/Oracle.
• Knowledge of PLC systems or similar warehouse / manufacturing automation systems.
• Develop custom APIs using python or related technologies.
• Create and maintain REST web services to make API calls to boundary systems for integrations.
• Provide support for testing cycles - UT, SIT, UAT, Performance.
• Review impact to warehouse before IT release, go-live preparation, planning, validation, and post go live support.
• Collaborate with business analysts to build technical configurations and BI reports.
• Create technical specifications for all the enhancements and new technical objects.

Requirements

• BA / BS Degree, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience working in the Supply Chain domain.
• 5+ years of experience working in core warehouse / manufacturing management systems.
• Experience designing/developing integrations between WMS and WCS/Automation.
• Hands-on expertise in programming languages and frameworks like Go Lang, Java, .Net, Python, JSON, XML, Javascript.
• Hands on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and experience with automation in a manufacturing, warehouse systems.
• Solid experience and understanding of data model and RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures.
• Excellent organization, analytical problem-solving and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience with MES, Koerber is a plus.
• Ability to develop innovative, scalable solutions and problem-solve in Supply Chain environments.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and agile environments and balance concurrent assignments.
• Ability to provide on-call support for any critical or high priority incidents impacting our business operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Robotics experience will be a plus.
