About the position

The position involves designing, developing, and deploying updates to cloud-based reporting services, focusing on both new and existing applications. The role encompasses all phases of software engineering, including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and quality engineering, with a strong emphasis on creating complex BI reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy updates to new and existing cloud-based reporting services.
• Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot reporting applications.
• Test and automate complex BI Reports and Dashboards.
• Develop well-documented source code.
• Create unit testing and system testing scripts for the Data QA process.
• Engage in all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing.
• Design reusable components for software applications.
• Design and implement complex data pipelines integrating diverse data sources.
• Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Perform comprehensive data mapping exercises for accurate data alignment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify technical business requirements and recommend BI reporting solutions.
• Develop data mapping documents and data dictionaries for reporting solutions.
• Design complex data-intensive reports utilizing various graph features.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud-based reporting services development.
• Proficiency in BI reporting tools and technologies.
• Strong programming skills with a focus on well-documented source code.
• Experience in unit testing and system testing.
• Knowledge of data mapping and data quality assurance processes.
• Ability to design and implement complex data pipelines.
• Experience in troubleshooting and monitoring reporting applications.
