About The Position

Paycom Payroll, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to expand and develop existing architectural frameworks for Paycom software. This role involves leading software development projects, overseeing lower-level technology professionals, and managing project communications with clients and vendors. The position requires a strong background in software development and object-oriented programming, along with experience in various programming languages.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience in software development
• Experience with object-oriented programming, business intelligence tools, or mobile application development
• Proficiency in at least 3 of the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, C#, MySQL, Couchbase
• Experience guiding and training new developers on architectural features
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Expand and develop existing architectural frameworks for Paycom software (45%)
• Perform basic software development on a variety of projects (15%)
• Lead and oversee the work of lower-level technology professionals (25%)
• Organize project efforts with non-technical professionals (5%)
• Adhere to organizational processes and track project metrics and statuses (5%)
• Manage project communications with clients/vendors as the primary project contact (5%)
