About the position

The Sr. Software QA Analyst role focuses on both manual and automated testing within a software development environment. This position is a 6-month contract with a strong possibility of long-term extensions or permanent rollover. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance processes are followed and will work closely with project teams to implement best practices in quality and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Write and maintain Jenkins scripts for continuous integration and deployment.
• Utilize Selenium for automated testing processes.
• Implement quality assurance and process improvement best practices.
• Work with Program/Project Quality Assurance/Process Improvement Plans.
• Establish and monitor Quality Gates or Quality Checkpoints as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of testing experience in software quality assurance.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience in writing Jenkins scripts.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium for automated testing.
• Functional knowledge of Agile, Spiral, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven experience in executing and administering Quality/Process Improvement best practices.
• Experience in IT project development, custom software solutions, and maintenance environments.
